ATHOL - Frances H. (Sklenis) Jasins, 92 of 59 J Street, Athol, MA, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born Frances Helen Sklenis in Remeikes, Lithuania, on October 24, 1912. She was married to the late John J. Jasins who predeceased her in 1970. She leaves a daughter Milda Jasins of Menlo, CA; two sons John Jasins of Athol, Alfred Jasins of Littleton, MA; two grandsons, John and Fred Jasins; a daughter in-law Elaine and her sister Veronika of Lithuania. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a member of the St. Francis Women's Guild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at 11:00 am in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 101 Main St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol, MA.
