Outside of work and especially after retirement, Fred had a love for gardening and his yard. Fred ,alongside his wife, worked hard in their beautiful, park-like yard and gardens. He was very proud of the well-maintened ,meandering paths and blooming flowers in his yard. He loved to bowl and was on a bowling league, bowling every Thursday for many years.
