E. Falmouth - Gabrielle M. Pervier, 89, formerly of Athol, died Saturday, October 28, 2007 at her daughters home.
Gabriell Marie (Letourneau) Brault Pervier
Born on May 2, 1918 in Quebec Canada, Gay Immigrated with her parents to Orleans Vermont at the age of three.
As a teenager she left home for employment to live with a relative in Lewiston Maine, where she worked in a shoe factory and then as a weaver for Bates Mill.
At the age of 20, she returned to her parents home who then lived in Orange, Mass. There she met and married Roger Allen Brault. They had four children: Connie Santi of Myrtle Beach S.C., Rita Simulis of Worcester and Flamouth MA, Joanne L'Heureux of Athol and Allen Brault of Pepperell MA.
She retired after several years employed by L.S. Starrett Company as an assembler and inspector.
In 1961 she widowed. In 1964 she married Ernest Pervier who predeceased her.
Since 2001 she has resided with Connie in Duluth GA and summered with Rita in Falmouth.
She was a member of the Athol Golden Age Club, AARP, National Air Force Auxillary and the Emblem Club. She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church.
Gabrielle is survived by her four children, thirteen Grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be hel don Wednesday, October 31st at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 31st from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Fiske Funeral home.
