LEOMINSTER ----George Eugene Arsenault 85,of Leominster died Tuesday February 2, 2011 at home after an illness. He was born September 12,1925 in Quebec Canada the son of the late Eugene Arsenault and Emma (Cormier) Arsenault and came to the United States many years ago settling in Leominster. He leaves his nephews and nieces,Claudette Arsenault and her husband John Bergeron of Canada,Richargd Arsenault and his wife Stephanie of Vermont,Diane Pavilaitis and her husband Michael of Leominster and Steven Arsenault and his companion Liz Ervine of Leominster.His great nephews and great nieces,Mark Bergeron, Nancy Bergeron, Lyne Bergeron, Yvan Bergeron, Sonja Rodriguez, Marcel Arsenault, Jeffrey Arsenault and Travis Arsenault.He also leaves his beloved pet and companion Snickers. He was predeceased by his four brothers,Jean Arsenault of Canada,Marcel Arsenault of Leominster and Paul and Gilbert Arsenault both of Canada. George worked for Foster Grant Co and Polysar Co Both in Leominster before retiring.He was a Communicant of St Cecilia's Church in Leominster and was a member of the Leominster Sportsman's Club.He loved anything to do with the outdoors especially snowmobiling. A funeral service will be held on Monday February 7,2011 at 5:30PM in Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster.Burial at a later date is private in St Cecilia's Cemetery.
