George W. Savela

LEOMINSTER....George W. Savela 90 went to eternal rest to his beloved wife Cecile on March 28, 2011 at the Keystone Center Leominster after an illness. He was born March 13,1921 in Fitchburg the son of late Nester Savela and Anna (Hendrickson) Savela and moved to Leominster over (60)years ago. George worked at Middlesex School in Concord MA for more than 25 years as a janitor and custodian retiring in 1983.He married Cecile M. (Morin) Savela on November 22,1953 and their marriage was blessed at St Leos Catholic Church on February 23,1964.They were married for 49 years until Cecile's death on October 15, 2001. George leaves behind four generations of nieces and nephews including Theresa Rochette and Albert Beaudet. He was predeceased by his sister Jenny LeClair, and sister and brother in law Yvonne and Anthony Stone and by his most beloved wife Cecile." Now the four compadres are once again together to trip the light Fantastic". A funeral service will be held on Saturday April 2, 2011 at 11am in Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster.
