Gerald E. "Jerry" Fisher, 44, died Wednesday, March 9, 2022 after a battle with Melanoma.
He leaves his parents. Dale J. and Susan (DeProfio) Fisher: his fiancé and the love of his life, Tami Anderson: a sister-in-law, Toni M. Fisher; a niece, Makenzie L. Fisher; a nephew, Jeffrey P. Fisher, all of Gardner; his maternal grandmother Phyllis DeProfio of Watham, aunts and uncles, Steven DeProfio and his wife Marie of Waltham; two aunts, Sally Chiarolanza and her husband Paul of Mansfield and Joanne DeProfio of Bluffton, SC; Steve Fisher and his wife Marsha of Salt Lake City, Utah and several cousins.
Jerry is predeceased by his brother Jeffrey J. Fisher who died in 2016.
Jerry was born on February 10, 1978. He graduated from Gardner High School and proudly served in the US Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal for 4 years. Jerry worked in construction for many years, mostly doing concrete foundations.
He was an avid Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins fan. He enjoyed walking his beloved Bulldog Sarge, where he would talk to total strangers and make new friends. He loved hanging out with his friends and his family meant the world to him. Jerry was a very caring and loving man, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jerry's funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Annunciation Parish in the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
His burial will be private.
