LEOMINSTER - Gerald A. " Jerry" Jalbert, 63 of Leominster, died Monday, July 30, 2007. He was born in Leominster, on April 5, 1944, the son of the late Armand and Lauretta (Lizotte) Jalbert. He graduated from Leominster High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his brother Ronald and wife Sarah Jalbert; three nieces, Karyn Jalbert, Kimberly Norman and husband Larry, Kristen McNally and husband Dan and nephew Scott Jalbert; three great- nephews, Shawn Hammer, Jeffrey Hammer and Stephen McNally of Parkersburg, WV; step-great nephew Bryan Norman of Spencer, WV; step-nieces Vicki Wolfe and life-partner Robert Billings of Parkersburg, WV, Susan Price and life-partner Elizabeth Staber of Barrington, NH and step-nephew Gregory Price and life-partner Wayne Osborne of Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 3, 2007 at 12:00 pm in St. Cecilia´s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Cecilia´s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, August 2, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home 14 Walker St., Leominster. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to American Heart Association, Apple Valley Chapter, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
