Geraldine V. Strong

ATHOL -- Geraldine V. (Pratt) Strong, 78 of 1184 Chestnut St., died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 in the Leo LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gardner. She was born in Orange, May 1, 1929, the daughter of the late Anson T. and the late Marion (Penniman) Pratt. She graduated from Athol High School. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Allie B. Strong; one daughter, Kathy J. Colmenares of Royalston; two sons, Kent B. Strong of Athol and Kris A. Strong of Athol; three sisters, Betty M. Lawton of Athol, Joyce L. Lawton of Athol, Shirley E. Recos of Phillipston; four grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Andre and Jason. She was predeceased by one grandson Andrew. Graveside services will be held May 20, at 10 a.m. in the Highland Cemetery, Hillside Terrace, Athol. There are no calling hours.
