Giovanni M. Piazza

LEOMINSTER--------Giovanni M. Piazza 82 of Leominster died Sunday evening June 5, 2011 at home after an illness. He was born December 26,1928 in Tricesimo Italy the son of the Late Giovanni Batista Piazza and Maria (Mansutti) Piazza and came to the United States many years ago settling in Leominster. He leaves his wife Rina (Balzano) Piazza, his son Dario Piazza and his wife Lori of Pennsylvania, his Daughter Susan Piazza of Ayer MA and a sister Laura Mansutti of Italy. Six Grandchildren, Michelina, Angelina, Rose, Rocco, Nikki and Sebron and two great grandchildren, Giovanna and Charisma. Nieces, nephews and cousins. His brother Valerio Piazza Of Italy predeceased him. Mr. Piazza was the Foreman Mechanic for PJ Keating Co in Lunenburg for (28)Years retiring in 1989.He was a communicant of St Annas Church in Leominster, and enjoyed traveling especially to Italy where he went (6)Times,and gardening. The funeral will be held on Wednesday June 8,2011 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial in ST Annas Church 199 Lancaster St Leominster.
