GARDNER - Glen E. Borkowski, 58 of 154 Sherman St., Gardner, died Sunday, November 13, 2011, after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family, at Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
He was born in Gardner, on June 6, 1953, the son of the late Edmond V. and Dorilla J. (LeBlanc) Borkowski.
He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1971. He worked for S. Bent for several years as a machinist. He went on to worked for the U.S. Postal Service in mail processing and then as a mail expeditor, he was employed there for over 32 years.
He was a member of the Gardner Council Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and building computers.
He leaves his wife of 24 years, Kathryn A. (Adams) Borkowski; two daughters: Kathleen J. Taylor of Frankville, WI, Lori L. Lawrence and her husband Lee of Keene, NH; his mother: Dorilla J. Borkowski of Gardner; one sister, Linda L. White and her husband Robert of Hubbardston; two grandchildren: Desiree and Gared Taylor both of Ayer, several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Neil A. Borkowski in 2007.
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
