Gloria Lorretta Fournier

GARDNER - Gloria Loretta (Cote) Fournier, 90 of 201 Willis Rd, Gardner, formerly of Fitchburg, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at home. She was born in Fitchburg, on November 3, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Mary (Fleurant) Cote. Gloria grew up in Fitchburg and lived most of her life in Fitchburg. She worked at Foster Grants and was a baby sitter for numerous children in the Fitchburg area. Gloria was a member of St. Camillus Church. She enjoyed crocheting and did volunteer work helping serve meals to the elderly. She leaves her daughter, Marie Woodard and her husband Barry of Gardner; two sons, Mark R. Fournier and his wife Patricia of Killington, VT, Brian J. Fournier and his wife Darlene of Charlestown, NH; one sister, Irene Johnson of Fitchburg; four grandchildren, Amber Normandin, Brandon Fournier, Anastasia Fournier, Carasanta Woodard; four step grandchildren; Jason Fournier, Amber Cull-Fournier, Benjamin Cull, Andrew Cull; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Roland J. Fournier in 2013. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 10:00 am in St. Bernard Parish at St. Camillus De Lellis Church, 333 Mechanic St., Fitchburg. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas PI, Memphis, TN 38105.
