Grace I. Cote

MILFORD - Grace I. (Trainque) Cote, 99, formerly of Leominster, died Sunday evening February 21, 2010 in the Blair House in Milford after an illness. She was born on March 9,1910 in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Louis and Celanire (Bergeron )Trainque. She leaves a son, Donald R. Cote and his wife Delores of Honey Brook, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Florence Goozey, of Milford; four grandchildren, Janice Mason of Milford, Donna Furbush of Blackstone, Michael Christy of South Attleboro, Paul Cote of Maine; two great grandchildren, Pauline Mason of Milford and Gabriella Solares of South Attleboro. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Wilfred L. Cote, on November 11, 1995; also by four brothers, Victor, Roland, Albert and William Trainque; and by two sisters, Sr. Florence Trainque and Sr. Veronica Trainque. Mrs. Cote was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster. She worked at the former Cluet and Peabody Co. as a stitcher. The funeral will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010 from Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster, with a 12 noon Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St Cecilia's Cemetery.
