Grace (Lang) LeBlanc

OTTER RIVER- Grace (Pat) Lang LeBlanc, 82 of Otter River, passed away peacefully on  October 9, 2013 at her home , in Otter River, surrounded by her family. Grace was born in Gardner, MA. December 12, 1930, daughter to the late Harold Lang of Troy, NH, and Eva Puustinen of Gardner, MA. Grace leaves her husband of 64 years, Donald F. LeBlanc, a son Kerry LeBlanc of Otter River, two daughters and their families, Patti Anne Matukas and her husband Thomas of Otter River and Dodie Ducharme and her husband Anthony of Winchendon, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.   With the exception of a few years in the mid 80’s, when she and her husband resided in Liberty, North Carolina, Grace was a lifelong resident of the area living in Gardner, Ashburnham and Otter River.  Grace graduated from Gardner High School in 1948 and worked at several establishments in the area throughout her life.   Grace loved to cook, entertain and shop.  Grace  especially enjoyed browsing flea markets and yard sales in search of older furniture made in Gardner.  She would work tirelessly refurbishing and refinishing these pieces and then would typically give them away to family and friends.  She was always the first to volunteer to help her family and friends in time of need or with any project.  Grace’s greatest joy came from doting on her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be missed by all who knew her.
