Graciela M. Choquette
Bradenton, Florida – Graciela (Moreno) Choquette, 85, of Bradenton formerly of Athol, died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Tidewell Care Center in Sarasota, Florida
Graciela was born June 29, 1928 in Barranquilla, Columbia, the daughter of Miguel and Carmen (Diaz) Moreno. She attended schools in Columbia and came to Athol in 1981 from Panama and Columbia.
Her husband Lloyd E. Choquette died March 27, 1997. She leaves two step-sons Lloyd J. Choquette of Amherst and Clark A. Choquette and his wife Ann of Belchertown; a sister Anna Maria Moreno Arciniegas of Bogata, Columbia; a niece Doris Kimberlin of Troy, IL and several nieces and nephews in Bogata, Columbia, as well as a sister-in-law Gladys Sinclair of Bradenton, FL; a brother-in-law Donald Fellows and a sister-in-law Barbara Warner, both of Athol. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a brother Jose Moreno Diaz, brother-in-law John Sinclair and sister-in-laws Ruth Fellows, Mildred Florence and Irene Nadeau.
A graveside service will be held at the Quabbin Park Cemetery in Ware, Friday, September 27, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Todd Farnsworth pastor of the Belchertown Congregational Church officiating. Higgins-O’Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol is directing arrangements.
