Harry L. Lamb

ORANGE, MASS - Harry L. Lamb, 84 of 51 Ward Road, Orange, Mass., formerly of Ruckersville, VA, died Tuesday, February 06, 2007, at home. He was born in Earlysville, VA, on June 6, 1922, the son of the late Jake T. and the late Dora Mae (Roach) Lamb. He leaves one son, Clifford L. Lamb and his wife Patricia of Orange, MA; three sisters, Dorothy Shiffeltt of Earlysville, VA, Ruby Samuels of Rockville, VA, Hazel Shiffeltt of Earlysville, VA and one brother, Hager Lamb of Standardsville, VA. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Shiffeltt) Lamb who died in August of 2006. A graveside service will be held Friday, February 9, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville. Rev. Dovel will officiate. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
