ATHOL-Helen E. (Tuminski) Meehan, 93, of 821 Daniel Shays Highway, formerly of 39 Lenox Circle, died Tuesday in Quabbin Valley Healthcare. Her husband, Fred N. Meehan, died last year. She leaves four grandchildren, Cynthia White and her husband Richard of Wyckoff, NJ; Christopher Meehan and his wife Cynthia of Weston, MA; Timothy Meehan and his wife Debra of Franklin, MA; and Thomas K. Meehan and his wife Julie of Bellingham, MA; four great-granddaughters, Emily Meehan of Franklin; Amanda Meehan of Sarasota, Florida; and Rebekah and Julia Meehan of Weston; and a step-grandson, Nathan Green of Weston; a sister, Josephine Muzynski of Turners Falls, and a brother, Steven Tuminski, of Greenfield; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Meehan of Athol. She is predeceased by two sons, Kenneth J. Meehan who died in 1957, and Frederick T. Meehan, who died in 1979.
She was born in Turners Falls, Oct. 15, 1907, daughter of Steven V. and Mary Tuminski, and had resided in Athol most of her life.
She was a member of Our Lady Immaculate Church.
Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours.
