Helen M. (Kwasny) Gemborys

GARDNER- Helen M. (Kwasny) Gemborys, 76 of 44 Clark St died Monday, March 17 2014 at the Heywood Hospital in Gardner. She was born November 17, 1937 the daughter of the late Michael and Magdalena (Gdula) Kwasny. She was employed at W.T. Grant Department Store, Fontaine's Furniture Company and in her golden years she worked for 17 years at Burger King.   She enjoyed serving her regular customers and acted as a surrogate Mom to many of her co-workers. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.  She enjoyed time spent with her family. She leaves her husband of 58 years Joseph J. Gemborys; her son Thomas M. Gemborys of Wayne, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Lisa Gemborys of New Jersey and Robert Gemborys of New Jersey and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers John Kwasny, Tony Kwasny, Edward Kwasny and Michael Kwasny, Jr.; and by two sisters Nellie Skope and Wanda Sandos. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday March 20, 2014 at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church 358 Pleasant St. Gardner. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery will be at a later date. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 19 2014 from 5 to 7 PM in the Poliks Funeral Home 431 Pleasant St. Gardner. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial donations be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Church 358 Pleasant St. Gardner Mass 01440.
