TEMPLETON - Helen M (Suszynski) Piaseczny, 78 of 364 Dudley Rd., Templeton, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at home after an illness. Helen was born in New Hampshire, on July 20, 1932, the daughter of the late Felix and the late Helen (Przybylska) Suszynski. And came to Templeton many years ago. She leaves her loving husband of 48 years: Joseph F. Piaseczny; two sons: Michael Piasezcny and his wife Becky of Templeton, Stephen Piaseczny and his wife Susan of Templeton; Three daughters: Ann Curry and her husband Lawrence of Gardner, Christine Pierce and her husband William of Templeton, Marie Coleman and her husband Anthony of Orange; one brother: Joseph Suszynski and one sister: Anne Brown of Westboro; eleven grandchildren: Matthew Piaseczny, Nicole Coe, Christopher Coleman, Melissa Coleman, Kayla Piaseczny, Kelsey Piaseczny, Branden Pierce, Alicia Coleman, Joseph Coleman, April Coleman and Brianna Nunez; Three great grandchildren, Dylan Coe, Emma Piaseczny and Lily Coe; her sister-in-law Janina Suszynski; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her great grandson: Nathaniel Coe and her two brothers: Lawrence Suszynski and Leslie Suszynski. Helen graduated from Chelsea High School with the class of 1950. She worked as a secretary for Liberty Mutual and as a Home Aid for the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Gardner, the Templeton Golden Agers, the Templeton Council on Aging, and the Holy Cross Church Rosary Sodality. She enjoyed woodcarving, reading, trips to Cape Cod and Maine, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 26, 2010 at 10:00 am in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner.
