Helen G. Buzzell
Athol – Helen G. (Sinclair) Buzzell, 90, formerly of South Street, died Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare surrounded by her loving family.
Helen was born in New Brunswick, Canada, December 22, 1923, the daughter of Robert D. and Mabel (Young) Sinclair. She moved to Maine in 1926, later moving to Massachusetts where she has lived most of her life, attending schools there.
Helen worked at the Union Twist Drill for 31 years until her retirement. She had previously worked at N.D. Cass Company and Ansin Shoe Company. She enjoyed playing bingo, but most especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
She leaves a daughter, Sandy Spooner of Athol, nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, several great great-grandchildren and a sister Florence Gelinas of Orange. She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Buzzell, five brothers, James, John, Howard, Robert and William Sinclair and three sisters, Roberta Bouras, Jean Vescovi and Sarah Woodruff.
At Helen’s request there are no formal funeral services.
