Herve J. Bosse

Royalston- Herve J. Bosse, 60, died Thursday, August 4, 2022 at his home after an illness. 

He leaves his wife Janice R. (Sterbinsky) Bosse; his mother, Odette (Lavoie) Bosse; three sisters, Martha McDonald of Gardner, Lorraine Roy of Gardner, and Norma Bruinsma of Clinton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

He is predeceased by his father, Yvon Bosse and a sister, Diane Bosse. 

Herve was born on January 27, 1962 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada.

Herve was a 1980 graduate of Monty Tech and with an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Nursing degree from MT. Wachusett Community College. 

He worked as a corrections officer at NCCI Gardner and the Max at Sousa Baranowski in Shirley, he was a police officer in Royalston and as a nurse at Athol Memorial Hospital in the emergency room and at Deven’s Medical. 

Herve was a Ham radio enthusiast and enjoyed shooting, traveling, exercising, listening to music; tinkering on heavy equipment, and working in the outdoors. His favorite thing was the time he spent with his family and friends.He was a human jungle gym for his nieces and nephews. 

He was a member of the Gardner Lions Club, the Royalston ZBA and the Mohawk Amateur Radio Club.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440. 

Burial will follow in the Jonas Alliene Cemetery, Winchendon Road, Royalston, MA 

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
