Holly A Booth

December 11, 1946 — July 10, 2024

Gardner

Holly A. Booth, 77, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, in Athol Hospital after a battle with cancer. She was born in Worcester, MA on December 11, 1946, to Uno O. Oakland and Aili (Paasonen) Oakland and lived in Gardner, MA most of her life.

Holly graduated from Gardner High School in 1964, Mount Wachusett Community College, and Fitchburg State College. Holly worked as a secretary at MWCC, then became a lab technician at Henry Heywood and Leominster Hospitals, followed by 15 years at Digital. Her remaining years before retirement were spent at the job she loved with a passion - Levi Heywood Memorial Library.

It is no surprise that Holly loved to read both books and magazines, do crossword puzzles, and be with friends. What people will remember most about her is her sense of humor and the joy they felt when laughing with her. Holly was also a very caring person, putting others before herself.

She was blessed with the most amazing friends a person could have.

Holly is survived by her sister Shelby Oakland, many cousins, and friends.

There will be no funeral service or burial. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at William's Restaurant, l84 Pearson Blvd, Gardner from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Levi Heywood Memorial Library, 55 W Lynde St. Gardner, MA 01440.
