FITCHBURG - Howard C. Doiron, 54 of 21 Pratt St., Fitchburg, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester.
He was born in Canada, on October 23, 1952, the son of Joseph and Ida (Daigle) Doiron.
Howard moved to Leominser when he was sixteen and was educated in Leominster.
He owned and operated D&N Foundations in Leominser for many years and was active in local construction for many years.
Howard enjoyed fishing and camping.
He leaves one daughter, Danielle Doiron of Fitchburg; his mother, Ida (Daigle) Doiron of Fitchburg; three sisters, Eva Atwater of Ayer, Diane Landry of Gardner, Donna Durant of Fitchburg and three brothers, Oville Doiron of Hubbardston, Donald Doiron of Leominster, Roger Doiron of Fort Meyers, FL; two step daughters, Ashley Doiron of Leominster, Leslie Howard of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Taisha Doiron, Tyrell Tanner, Kaylee Tanner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ricky Doiron who died in 1969 and by his father, Joseph Doiron.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 3, 2007 at 10:00 am in St. Cecilia´s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster.
Burial will be private at a later date.
