Ida M Doiron, age 88, of Fitchburg died Monday, December 21, 2015 at Leominster Hospital. Mrs. Doiron was born September 12, 1927 in St. Charles, New Brunswick. She is the daughter of the late Celestine and the late Mina (Robichaud) Daigle. Ida was a member of St. Cecilia's Church.
She will be remembered as always happy and smiling. She loved to laugh and was caring and family oriented. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was the best mother and grandmother, was a sharp dresser and was kind and devout.
She is survived by four daughters: Eva Atwater and her husband, David of Leominster, Diane Landry and her husband, Ronald of Gardner, Donna Durant of Fitchburg, and Jeannette McReweeney and three sons: Oville Doiron and his wife, Francine of Hubbardston, Donald Doiron and his wife, Donna of Leominster, Roger Doiron and his wife, Sue of Ft. Myers, FL; one sister: Eva Saulnier of Moncton, New Brunswick and one brother: Eddie Daigle of Las Vegas, NV; She also has twelve grandchildren: Lisa, Karen, Holly, Tammy, Danielle, Melissa, Ricky, Heather, Scott, Ronnie, Brian and Brandon; seventeen great-grandchildren: Derek, Ryan, Lindsey, Gracie, Jamie, Kyle, Tashia, Tyrell, Kayleigh, Dominic, Ryder, Madison, Jordon, Sammy, Caydence, Ronald III, Zoe; and one Great Great Grandson, Dylan.
She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Doiron, her sons, Howard Doiron, Ricky Doiron, her sisters, Leah and Yvonne Chevarie, and her brother Eric Daigle.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, December 28 at St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster.
