Irene Charbonneau

GARDNER - Irene Charbonneau, age 97, went to be with her Lord on December 24, 2016. The youngest of 14 children, she was born June 10, 1919 in Saint-Norbert, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Jude and Cecile Maillet. Her husband of 54 years, Paul E. Charbonneau passed away in 2000. In 1946 they moved from Montreal to Gardner where she worked for 24 year at Gem Crib and another 5 years at Simplex. She is survived by two sons: Mel Charbonneau and his wife Gail of Port Orange, FL and Gary Charbonneau and his wife Sue of Duedin, FL. She also leaves two grandchildren: Shelly Kochanski and her husband Paul and Dain Charbonneau and his wife Samantha; and two great grandchildren: Brett and Joel Kochanski. Irene was very active, independent, and inquisitive. She loved watching wrestling and lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Services will be held in the spring.
