Irene A. (St.Cyr) England, 87 of 27 Summer St., died Friday, November 10, 2006 in the Sun City Hospice, Brandon, FL.
She was born in Alberta, Canada on July 14, 1919, the daughter of the late William and the late Rose (Guenette) St. Cyr.
Irene was a member of St. Cecilia's Church in Leominster and a former member of the Moose Club in Leominster. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, home decorating and crafts.
She leaves six daughters; Judith A. Rivers of Fitchburg, Linda L. Hutton of Maine, Rosalie M. Dardy of Florida, Joyce A. Beirholm of Lunenburg, Cynthia A. Hazzard of Georgia, and Elaine M. Freeman of Brandon, FL; two sons, George W. England of Tampa, Florida and Dennis P. England of Leominster; fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-nine years, George Joseph England, who died February 4, 1997, several brothers and sisters also predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia´s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia´s Cemetery, Leominster.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2006 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. In the M.A. Simard & Son Funeral Home, 14 Walker Street, Leominster, MA.
