GARDNER - Irene L. (Pszczolkowski) Fournier, 87, formerly of 510 Pleasant St., Gardner, died Sunday, January 6, 2008, in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner. She was born in Gardner, on October 9, 1920, the daughter of the late Chester and the late Josephine (Skowronski) Pszczolkowski and was a life long resident of Gardner. She graduated from Gardner High School with the class of 1938. She was employed as a Cutter at Collier Keyworth for over 42 years retiring in 1985. Mrs. Fournier was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, she enjoyed crewel, embroidery, and counted cross stitching. She leaves her son William J. Fournier and his wife Carolyn A. Fournier of Gardner; her granddaughter, Denise L. Fournier and her husband David C. Minchenberg of Gardner; her grandson, Christopher J. Fournier of Gardner; her great grandson, William A. Michenberg of Gardner; two sisters, Pola Yackowski of Baldwinville and Helen Miganowicz of Baldwinville and one brother, Walter Pszczolkowski of Gardner. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Eric J. Fournier who died in 1994 and by four sisters, Lillian Duteau, Wanda Bertrin, Kazy Sutherby, Theresa Carlberg and by one brother, Zigmund Pszczolkowski. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2008, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church 358 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial in St. John's Cemetery will be in the Spring. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2008, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Poliks Funeral Home 431 Pleasant St., Gardner.
