LEOMINSTER - Iris A. Aubuchon 61 of Leominster and Lunenburg, died Saturday morning January 1, 2011 in the Matson Home in Pepperell after an illness. She was born November 6, 1949 in Leominster the daughter of the late Ernest Aubuchon and Jeannette (Cote) Aubuchon, and lived in Leominster and Lunenburg before moving to Pepperell. She leaves her six brothers, Paul Aubuchon of Leominster, Roger Aubuchon of Chicopee, Gerard Aubuchon and his wife Constance of Leominster, Ronald Aubuchon and his wife Alice of Leominster, Robert Aubuchon and his wife Diane of Leominster, and Ernest Aubuchon and his wife Ellen of Lunenburg. Her God Mother Rita Brouillet and sister in law Regina Aubuchon. Many nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces and cousins. A brother Andre "OB" Aubuchon predeceased her in 2002 and her two sisters in law Jeannette Aubuchon in 2003 and Catherine Aubuchon in 2008. Iris was a communicant of St Cecilia's Church in Leominster, a member of the Beacon of Hope, former longtime Board Member of the ARC of Fitchburg. She attended Northwest School in Leominster and was employed at MIR in Fitchburg for (38) Years. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and Karaoke and activities with her many friends. The funeral will be held on Tuesday January 4, 2011 from Simard Funeral Home 14 Walker St Leominster with a 10am Mass of Christian Burial in St Cecilia's Church Leominster. Burial will follow in St Cecilia's Cemetery Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday January 3, 2011 are from 4PM-7PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the Beacon of Hope 62 West St Leominster MA.01453 and may be left at the funeral home.
