GARDNER- Ivan G. Dignan, 55, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at his home.
He was the son of Robert and Diane (Houde) Dignan and grew up in Marlboro, Massachusetts. Ivan was a veteran of the United States Army where he earned several medals. After his service with the Army, Ivan had earned a certificate, certifying him in the field of IT. His last position earned him the title of Systems Manager at Mack Prototype in Gardner. As a child and an adult he was fascinated by how things work. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, attending Flea Markets, working on computers, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed helping his family and friends as well.
Ivan is survived by sisters; Julie Allen & Corrine Hellstrom, and brother; Patrick Dignan as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling Hours will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2019 from 5-8p.m. at the Mack Family Funeral Home, Lamoureux Smith & Poliks Chapel 105 Central St. Gardner.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 10a.m. with burial following at 11a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors.
