BALDWINVILLE - James A. Kalinowski, 31 of 13 Grove St., Baldwinville, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at home.
He was born in Gardner on July 19, 1978, the son of Michael J. and Patricia K. (Mowe) Kalinowski.
He grew up in Templeton and graduated with honors from Gardner High School.
James worked for Jon & Kerri's Furniture in Winchendon for several years.
He loved his cats and enjoyed Ebay and online poker. He could often be found selling his homemade fudge at local craft fairs.
Besides his parents, he leaves two sisters: Elizabeth D. Kalinowski of Winchendon
Christine J. Kalinowski of Baldwinville; one brother: Michael J. Kalinowski and his wife Ruthanne of Winchendon; his paternal grandmother: Irene Fountaine of Baldwinville; his maternal grandmother: Dorothy Zygilewicz of Fenton, MO; two aunts: Carol Burke of Templeton, Mary Zygilewicz of Fenton, MO; four uncles: Michael Toth and Andrew Kalinowski both of Baldwinville, Tommy Kalinowski of Orange, Henry Mowe of Fenton, MO; three cousins, Jackie Toth of Winchendon, Jennifer Toth of Baldwinville, Steven Kalinowski of Washington, DC; his best friend, Andy Fruit of Templeton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:00 am in Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA 01440 to help offset funeral expenses.
