GARDNER- James M. Keresey, 89, of Mystic, CT, formerly of Gardner, died Friday, December 29, 2017.
Mr. Keresey was born July 5, 1928, in Gardner, son of the late Henry F. and Edna N. (Holm) Keresey. He was a 1946 graduate of Gardner High School and earned his Associate's degree in Business from Becker College. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict attaining the rank of Corporal. He was employed by C.B. Builders, George B. Bent Company and Seidman & Seidman. He was a member of Annunciation Parish.
He leaves his wife of 63 years, Stella M. (Breau) Keresey; one son, Dennis H. Keresey and his wife, Lisa of Palm Coast, FL; one daughter, Nancy E. Phillips and her husband, Robert of Ledyard, CT; two grandchildren, Christina Adkins and her husband, Tim of Reston, VA and Jacquelyn Phillips Kunhardt and her husband, George of Bedford, NY.
Mr. Keresey was predeceased by his daughter, Patricia A. Keresey and two brothers, Edward M. Keresey and Henry F. Keresey.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 11:00 A.M to 1:00 P.M. in Lamoureux-Smith & Poliks Funeral Home, a Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner.
The funeral Mass will follow at 1:30 P.M. at Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be private.
