Westminster, MA — Janice Lynn Jolly, 71, of Westminster died Thursday, June 30, 2022 at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
She was born in Worcester on October 23, 1950, a daughter of the late Raymond Johnson and Barbara (Carroll) Johnson.
Janice graduated from West Boylston Junior-Senior High School. She continued on to University of Massachusetts in Amherst where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education. She went on to receive her Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Worcester State College.
Janice taught at Athol High School for 25 years and then taught at Narragansett Regional High School for 10 years. She was a member of the Templeton Senior Community Center. She enjoyed crossword puzzles,; cards; arts and crafts; adult coloring; her pets, especially her Maine Coon, Callie,; time spent with her loving family; and, traveling.
She leaves her husband of 49 years, Treffle J. Jolly; a son, Eric Jolly and his wife, Bunny; a daughter, Jennifer Jolly, and her fiancé, Robert DeBlasio; three grandchildren whom she loved fiercely, Clancy DeBlasio, Kian Jolly, Elliana Jolly; a brother, Terrence Johnson and his wife Patricia; and several nieces and nephews. She leaves two best friends, Tina and Lyn.
A Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St, Gardner, Massachusetts. Burial will be private at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 9:30 - 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations in Janice's memory be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741.
