ORANGE – JeanAnn Theresa Mary (Hebert) Arce, 77 of 94 Warwick Rd., Orange, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA.
She was born in Montague, MA, on August 22, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Blanche (Gravel) Hebert.
Jean worked as an operator for New Jersey Bell, as well as working for McElwain Shoe, Union Twist Drill, Fleetwood Nursing Home, Erving Paper Mill and she later retired from Duall Plastics.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved cooking, sewing and making clothing for her children and enjoyed listening to music. She loved unconditionally, always putting herself last. She was a hard worker and always provided for her family. She was also very independent up to the end of her life.
She leaves nine children: Michael A. Arce and his wife Weng of Elkridge, MD, Santo L. Arce and his wife Brenda of Chicopee, MA, Diana M. Robichaud and her husband Stephen of Princeton, Gloria L. Leckner and her husband John of Alexandria, VA, Luana E. Goewey of Athol, Juan Ines Arce of Orange, Carlina A. King of Athol, Sonya Y. Lenois and her husband Edward of Orange, Nelson Arce and his wife Kristin of Orange: twenty grandchildren: Brian, Andrew, Yinia, Vincent, Elaina, Santo Jr., Lindsey, Christina, Emily, Joshua, Jonathan, Jeffery, Kenneth, Kimberly, Christopher, Matthew, Joseph, Miguel, Eric, Martia; fifteen great grandchildren: Katon, Alexander, Vincent Jr., Sheala, Brandon Jr., Emmalynn, Austin, Braydon, Kairi, Liam, Eyan, Meredith, Trinity, Leah, Kameron; two brothers, Richard Hebert of WA, Ronald Hebert of Florence, SC; one sister: Beverly Perez of FL; one daughter-in-law: Margaret Arce of Greenfield; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years Miguel A. Arce in 2012 and her son Eric Arce in 2001. She is also predeceased by her sister Shirley Sullivan, and brothers Robert Hebert and James Hebert.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00 am in the St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress St., Orange. A private burial will be at a later date.
