LEOMINSTER - Jean J Maillet , 79 , died Monday , Monday, June 12, 2023 at The Highlands, Fitchburg.
He was born in St. Norbert, New Brunswick Canada on November 17th, 1943, the son of the late Edouard Maillet and Elmina (Babineau) Maillet.
Joseph worked for 40 years at Owens in Nashua, NH until his retirement in 2009. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and enjoyed working with his brother- in-law Claude. He was always there to help anybody and he was loved by everyone!
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Odette (Bastarache) Maillet; seven sisters, Loretta Allain, Rezeda Maillet, Jeannita Boucher, Emilienne Bastarache, Florence Leblanc, Stella Carlson, Simonne Maillet; one brother, Romeo Maillet and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four sisters, Louise Gautreau, Marguerite LeBlanc, Yvette LeBlanc, Noella Maillet and by five brothers, Leandre Maillet, Octave Maillet, Alphee Maillet, Alfred Maillet and Calixte Maillet.
A mass will be held at 10:30 on the 24 of June 2023 in St. Anna Church, Lancaster St., Leominster.
