Jeanette F. (Fournier) Lyman

ATHOL - Jeanette (Fournier) Lyman, 89, died Monday, January 12, 2015 at home. Jeanette was born in Athol on January 17, 1925.  She grew up in Warwick, Mass. with her parents Arthur and Fannie (Davidson) Fournier and three younger brothers Sonny, Graham and Richie.  She married Alan Gray Lyman on February 3, 1950 and they had three children, Pat, Bruce and Pete. Jeanette worked side by side with Al running their businesses, Lyman Signs and Lyman Truck Caps.  She enjoyed snowmobiling, working in the yard, cooking/baking, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with family. She is survived by her family, who was everything to her, husband Al, Pat and Lenny Lucier, Bruce and Sue Lyman, Pete and Linda Lyman; grandchildren Kate Smith, Jake Lyman, Ashley Marshall, Erin Braley and Jeff Lyman, their spouses and 4 great-grandchildren. The Funeral will be held Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, January 14 from 6:00  - 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations be made in Jeanette’s memory to a charity of one's choice.
