ATHOL - Jeanne D'Arce (Jean) Savoy, 76 of 576 Sander St., Athol, died Thursday, January 31, 2013 at home. She was born in Lameque, New Brunswick, Canada, on October 6, 1936, the daughter of the late Celestin Jean and the late Maria (Gionet) Jean.  She grew up in Canada and came to live in Athol when she married Alfred Savoy on July 6, 1953. She worked at the L.S. Starrett Tool Company retiring after 25 years.  She was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church, a member of the Athol/Orange Elks Auxiliary and a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts.  She loved camping in her RV going to New Brunswick in the summer.  She enjoyed tag sales and flea markets, sewing and spending time with their grandchildren. She leaves her husband of 59 years: Alfred J.Savoy:  one daughter: Annette Suzor and her husband William of Athol; three sons:  Allan Savoy of Athol, Ernest Savoy and his wife Tammy of NH, Michael Savoy and his wife Cathy of Athol;  five grandchildren:  Jason Savoy, Timothy Savoy, Nicole Savoy, Adam Suzor and Andre Suzor all of Athol; three step-grandchildren:  Dean Courtemanche and Kristen Courtemanche of N.H., Alexander Suzor of Athol; three step great grandchildren:  Heather Suzor and Mikayla Suzor of Athol, Logan Courtemanche of Milford, NH; five sisters: Alfredine Sutliff, Carmel Noel, Rose Marie Guinard, Pierette Hache, Paulette Noel and three brothers: Roger Jean, Jean-Guy Jean, Gabriel Jean. She was predeceased by her son Timothy Savoy who died in 1959, two brothers Merel Jean, Joseph Jean;  four sisters Rita (Jean) Cappiello, Christine Jean, Rene Jean and Rita Jean; her great grandson:  Samuel Greene Savoy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held   Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. in the Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St., Athol.  Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
