Jeannette F. Marotte

ATHOL - Jeannette F. (Brault) Marcotte, 91 formerly of 461 Hapgood St., Athol died Sunday, March 25, 2007 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. She was born in Canada, on November 7, 1915, the daughter of the late Auila and the late Aurore Brault. She was a resident of Athol since 1955 coming from Barton, VT. Mrs. Marcotte was a communicant of Our Lady Immaculate Church and taught CCD for many years. She was a member of the daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed playing Bingo. She leaves two daughters, Claire T. Bishop of Athol, Yvette I. Wheeler of Ludlow and two sons, Robert R. Marcotte of Athol, Paul E. Marcotte of Florida; two brothers, Jean P. Brault of Athol, Louis P. Brault of Athol; twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchilden and nine great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence J. Marcotte who died in 1993, by her son, Roland Marcotte, by a granddaughter, Cynthia (Bishop) White who died in 1997, by her two brothers, Maurice Brault and Roger Brault, and by a sister, Simmone Currier. A memorial service will be held at Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11:00 am in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main Street, Athol. Burial will be at a later date. A calling hour will be held Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Our Lady Immaculate Church - Building Fund, 192 School St., Athol, MA 01331.
