Jeannine Marie Batchelor

PHILLIPSTON- Jeannine Marie (LeBlanc) Batchelor, 81, of Phillipston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. Jeannine was born on November 25, 1939 in Gardner to the late Erick LeBlanc and the late Anna (Boucher) LeBlanc. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School. She worked at the L.S. Starrett Tool Company in Athol for ten years. She was most proud of work with special needs students in the Phillipston and Templeton School system, as well as being a substitute teacher at Narragansett. Jeannine was instrumental in starting the Narragansett Craft Fair and was a member of the Phillipston Elementary School PTG where she held the position of Treasurer. She enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, traveling, camping, trips to Wells Beach, ME and going to the camp in Maine. Jeannine leaves her husband of 62 years: Gordon R. Batchelor of Phillipston, five sons: Glenn Batchelor, Dennis Batchelor, Chris Batchelor and his wife Shellie, Gregory Batchelor and his significant other Amy and her children, Zak and Mia, Jeffrey Batchelor; four grandchildren: Crystal, Steven, Bailey, Dominic; six great grandchildren; her brother Kenneth LeBlanc and his wife Ruth; three sister-in-laws, Linda Connors, Lois Batchelor, Lauren LeFrancois and her husband Mike and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson Jeremiah Oja. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 8th, 2021 at 11:00 in the Church of the Holy Cross, 26 Lake Ave. Templeton, MA. Burial will be in the spring in Lower Cemetery, Phillipston. A calling hour will be held 9:30-10:30am at the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange.
