HOLDEN Jennie (Luba) Dymek, age 95, of Baldwinville died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Holden Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center of Holden, MA. Jennie was born January 4, 1920 in Gardner, MA. She is the daughter of the late Bronislaw and the late Stella (Zalewski) Luba.
Jennie was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Dymek Electrical.
She enjoyed puzzles, summering in Maine, and gardening.
Jennie is survived by one son, James S. Dymek of Holden; her grandchildren: Beth Goldstein and her husband Jeffrey of Forest Hills, NY, and her grandson Jeffrey J. Dymek and his wife Christine of Paxton; and three great grandchildren: Lyla and Tess Goldstein, and Sophia Dymek. She is predeceased by her husband, Stanley J. Dymek (October 1999). She is also predeceased by her brother Stanley Luba and her daughter in law, Janice Dymek (February 2015).
Calling hours will be Friday, March 20 from 9 to 10:15 AM at Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St., Gardner, MA.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 20 at St. Vincent De Paul, 1 Forest St., Baldwinville, followed by burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Baldwinville.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennie’s name to support the Templeton Firefighters Association, 2 School Street, Baldwinville, MA 01436.
