ORANGE - Jennifer Lynn Cote, 37 of 12 Chase St., Orange, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at home.
She was born in Greenfield, on March 15, 1978, the daughter of the late Cindy V. (Cote) Bennett.
Jennifer attended Orange Schools and graduated from Mahar in 1996 with honors. After high school she attended Mt. Wachusett Community College and University of Phoenix.
Jennifer enjoyed nature and all outdoors. She especially loved the ocean and family vacations in Maine. She was an avid reader and loved Greek mythology, and writing. Jennifer had a great sense of humor and laughed easily. Jenny's smile would brighten your day. She cherished her dog Lovebug.
Jenny loved and enjoyed her family very much. Summer gatherings were always looked forward to, and they will never be the same.
She leaves behind two children, which she loved with all her heart. Lexee Cote of Athol. Nikolas Santiago of Orange; a brother, who she held very close to her heart Jonathan Bennett; several aunts and uncles, Charles Cote of Athol, Gilbert Cote and his companion Lois of Gardner, Sandra Hamlett of Athol, Patricia O’Lari and her husband Richard of Athol, Michelle Cote of Athol, Chris Carey and his wife Kelly of New Salem, Brian Carey and his wife Martha of Athol; her fiancé and companion of 7 years, Michael Coppolino, of Orange; many cousins all of which she loved dearly, especially Jeanna O'Lari who was more like a sister to her.
Jennifer was predeceased by her mother Cindy V. (Cote) Bennett, her grandparents James and Maxine Carey, and by her aunt Kim Cote.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Athol-Orange Baptist Church, 131 Ridge Ave., Athol.
Burial will be at a later date. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Cote/Santiago Children's Fund c/o Hometown Bank, 90 Exchange St., Athol, MA 01331.
