Jerome R. Palen

GARDNER - Jerome Robert Palen, 46 of 56 Stephanie Drive, Gardner, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Kingston, NY, on June 26, 1972, the son of the late Robert L. Palen and Colleen R. (Sickler) Palen. He grew up in Kingston, NY until he was 19, moving to Leominser where he resided for 6 years and has resided in Gardner for the past 21 years. Jerome worked as a material handler for the James Monroe Wire and Cable Company in Sterling. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, loved watching sports and was a big fan of the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He loved Star Wars and Marvel Comics. He leaves his wife of 24 years, Cheryl (Wilson) Palen; one daughter, Paige L. Palen of Gardner; his mother, Colleen Palen of Kingston, NY; two sisters, Robyn Palen of Kingston , NY, Joan Aube of Vermont; two brothers, Lewis Palen, Mark Palen both of Kingston, NY and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the Mack Family Funeral Home, 105 Central St., Gardner. Burial will be private.
