Joanne J. Breault, age 64, of Athol lost her battle with ALS Sunday, October 16, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. Joanne was born July 5, 1952 in Gardner. She is the daughter of the late Stanley and the late Lucille (Rivard) Sabulis.
Joanne grew up in the Athol and Gardner area and attended schools in the Narragansett School District.
Most of her employment was as a bartender at area bars including Leroy's, which was owned by her family, Candle Light, The Corner Pub and Dery Bar. She also worked at L.S. Starrett Company, and Athol Table Shop.
She was a member of the Lithuanian Club and the Franco American Club.
Joanne enjoyed gardening, crafting, and was very good at pool and darts. She also enjoyed her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by one daughter: Kimberly Choquette of Athol, and three sons: Gregory Barilone and his wife Kelly of Orange, Aaron Barilone and his partner Clayton of Worcerster, Christopher Barilone and his wife Jennifer of Athol; She also has eleven grandchildren; Brandon, Alexandria, Dallas, Cory, Felicity, Madison, Mackenzie, Makaylee, Ryder, Anthony, Aiden; and lifelong friends, Kathy And Ricky Mallette and Johny And Nancy Richardson.
She is predeceased by her son, John Barilone who passed away in 2011.
The funeral will be held Friday, October 28 at 1:00 PM in Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange, with Rev. Mark Bariloni officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery.
A calling hour will be Friday, October 28 at 12 noon in the funeral home.
