ATHOL - Jodie Lee (Langlois) (Putnam) Lopez, 38 of 86 Lake St., Athol, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 5, 2007 in the Athol Memorial Hospital, Athol. She was born in Athol, on January 26, 1969, the daughter of Stephen Langlois and Karen (White) Bailey. She graduated from Mahar High School. Jodie enjoyed softball, going to the beach, vollyball, crossword puzzles and she will always be remembered as having a smile on her face. Jodie was employed at the Thomas Betts in Orange for fourteen years and more recently at Mr. Mike's in Athol. She leaves her husband, Hector Lopez; two daughters, Stephanie Putnam of Athol, Sophie Putnam of Athol; her mother Karen Bailey and her husband Bruce of Athol; her father Stephen Langlois and his wife Lynne of Orange; four sisters, Marlene Pelletier and her husband Darryn of Athol, Lisa Bailey of Athol, Penny Bailey of Athol, Mary Manjoureau and her husband Dan of Orange; seven brothers, Russell Bailey, Sr. and his wife Cheryl of Athol, Kenneth Bailey and his wife Debbie of Athol, Thomas Bailey of Connecticut, Bruce Bailey Jr., and his companion Kristen Muzzy of Athol, David Langlois and his wife Sherri of Athol, Ed Langlois and his wife Michelle of Florida, Stephen Langlois, Jr. of Winchester, NH; a step-son, Rick Lopez and his wife Sherri of Saugus; two step granddaughters, her maternal grandmothers, Blanche White of Athol, Theresa Anderson of Florida; her paternal grandmother, Marguerite Langlois of Royalston; special friends, John and Kate Putnam, Amy Putnam and Joan Hamlett all of Athol; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at 10:00 am in the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main Street, Athol. Burial will follow in Jonas Alliene Cemetery, Royalston. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
