Jody L. Strong

May 24, 1987 — July 24, 2024

Orange, MA

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jody L. Strong, born on May 24, 1987, in Greenfield, MA. Known for her courage, ambition, loving nature, and creativity, Jody was a beacon of strength and inspiration for all who were fortunate enough to know her. Jody was a woman of remarkable resilience and strength, always facing life's challenges with a positive attitude. As Maya Angelou once said, "I can be changed by what happens to me, but I refuse to be reduced by it." This quote aptly describes Jody's attitude towards life.

Jody made her home in Orange, Massachusetts, where she was a respected Sales Specialist at JCI Fire and Safety for twelve years. Her ambition and dedication to her work were admired by her colleagues and clients alike. Despite her work commitments, Jody always found time for what mattered most to her: her family, her health, and her Jeep. Known for her love of customizing her Jeep Grand Cherokee, lifting heavy weights, and gardening, Jody was a vibrant and energetic individual who believed in making the most of every moment. She also enjoyed planning and creating outdoor Christmas lighting displays, doing yard work with her dad, snow blowing the driveway, and horseback riding.

Even amidst her brave battle with breast cancer over the last five years, Jody remained a pillar of courage and positivity, striving to live life as normally as possible. She did not allow her condition to define her, nor did she want to be treated differently because of it. Jody's resilience, courage, and indomitable spirit will continue to inspire and live on in the hearts of her loving parents, William and Virginia Strong.

Jody's life was a testament to the power of courage, ambition, love, and creativity. As we remember her, let's celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the countless lives she touched. We invite you to join us in honoring Jody's memory by sharing stories, photographs, and memories on her memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of the incredible woman that Jody was and the profound impact she made on those around her.

Jody is survived by her loving parents, William and Virginia Strong. Her spirit, love, and memories will be celebrated during a visitation on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, Massachusetts. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 11:00 am at Lower Cemetery, Athol Road, Phillipston, Massachusetts.
