HADLEY – John R. Ferron II, 41, of Hadley, formerly of Athol passed away Tuesday, November 13 in Cooley Dickenson Hospital, Northampton.
John was born in Athol on November 26, 1976, the son of the late John R. Ferron and the late Patricia (Maroni) Ferron.
John enjoyed classic cars, NASCAR, kayaking, biking, the Red Sox, the New England Patriots, going to Monadnock Speedway and car shows. John was a huge fan of the Dukes of Hazzard and Knight Rider.
He is survived by his sister: Heather Ferron of Hickory, NC; nephews: Tyler Guerin of Athol and Ryan Parham of Hickory NC; a niece Nicole Guerin of Athol; aunts: Barbara (Ferron) Couillard and husband George of Templeton, Nancy Ferron of Fitzwilliam NH, Valerie (Maroni) Hoye and husband Bernie of Tully, Grace (Maroni) Reed and husband Steve of Athol; uncles Louis Maroni and wife Darlene of Athol and Gerald Sears of Athol; and many cousins.
John touched the lives of everyone he was around. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers that impacted his life on a daily basis.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10am – 11am in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange.
A graveside service will follow at 11:15 am in Gethsemane Cemetery, Fielding Way, Athol.
