John H. Harris

FITCHBURG- John H. Harris, 60, of Fitchburg, died March 27, at the Blair House in Worcester, after an illness. John was born April 3, 1957, in Leominster, son of Richard and Jeanne (Richard) Harris. He was an auto mechanic working at several garages over the years including, Goodyear, GE, YE Getty, Moe’s, and Johnny’s. Besides his parents Richard and Jeanne Harris, John leaves his wife of 13 years, Carrie (Doherty) Harris; one son, John Harris of Wappingers Falls, NY; two daughters, Melissa Powell and her husband, Dan of Menendes, NY, and Sara Harris of Fort Myers, FL; two step sons, Ryan Graham and his wife, Sarah, and Timothy Graham, all of Leominster; four grandchildren, Zachary, Ethan, Mayah, and Mason Graham; one brother, Rick Harris and his wife, Maureen of Leominster; four sisters, Debbie Isabelle and her husband, Warren of Boylston, Rhonda Dion of Leominster, Lisa Marcoux and her husband, Shawn of Hubbardston, and Cindy Jennings and her husband, Craig of Northborough; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are Tuesday, April 3, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. in Simard Funeral Home, 14 Walker St., Leominster. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 4, at 10:30 A.M. in Simard Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please considering a memorial contribution to the Homeless Ministry that John and Carrie were so passionate about.
