Johnnie G. Ouellette

Hubbardston- Johnnie G. (Barton) Ouellette, 76 of 66 Hill Road, died Sunday, April 27, 2008 in Heywood Hospital following an illness. She was born in Greenville, NC on February 15, 1932 the daughter of Daniel M. and Nina Belle (Waine) Barton and had resided in Hubbardston for 54 years. Mrs. Ouellette was the co-owner of the Hub Package Store for 28 years until her retirement in 1999. She also worked at the Bangor State Hospital and in the Pediatrics Department of Heywood Hospital. She was a former member of Holy Spirit Church. She loved children, animals and her family. Johnnie and her husband, Gerard Ouellette, were married on September 7, 1958 and would have celebrated 50 years together this year. She leaves her husband, Gerard of Hubbardston; a sister Martha Dorland of Washington; five nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the John H. Mack Funeral Home, 91 Vernon Street, Gardner. Calling hours will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Following cremation a private burial will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. $(document).ready(function(){ });
