Joseph Edgar Landry

Joseph E. Landry, 93 of Auburn, MA formerly of Shrewsbury, MA, and Conway, SC

passed away peacefully on January 24, 2025. He was born on November 11, 1931, in Fitchburg, MA, the son of Adrice and Marie Landry (Arsenault). 

He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 66 years, Alice Landry (Lecourt).

He leaves behind many who loved him: his son, David Landry of Shrewsbury, MA, and two daughters, Joanne Jenkins of Surf City, NC and Lisa Landry of Monterey, MA and his special niece, Donna Lecourt; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Raymond and Albert Landry.

Joseph is a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. After his service, he worked as a tool and die maker/machinist until retirement from Entwistle Company, Hudson, MA.

Joseph was an avid sports fan, loved history, fantasy football, golf, gardening, singing, and playing all kinds of games with family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held on February 8, 2025, at 11:00 am at St Mary’s Church, Shrewsbury, MA.
