Joseph C. Fucile

GARDNER - Joseph C. Fucile, 91 of Gardner, died Thursday, April 24, 2008 in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville. He was born in Gardner, on September 24, 1916, the son of the late Henry and the late Nancy (Amigo) Fucile. He grew up in Gardner, was educated in Gardner and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Fucile married Viola R.Heredeen on January 16, 1948. Mr. Fucile was employed at Heywood Wakefield for 18 years, he went on to work at Simplex Time Recorder and Collier Keyworth retiring in 1980. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church and he loved to play bingo and lottery tickets. He leaves his wife of sixty years, Viola R.(Heredeen) Fucile; two daughters, Nancy R. Beaupre and her husband Steven of Otter River, June Douglas and her husband Gerald of Gardner; one son, Bradley J. Fucile and his wife Christine of Otter River, one sister, Marjorie Sokolowski of Gardner; one brother, Henry Fucile of Templeton; a beloved niece, Faye Aldrich of Sutton, MA; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Joseph H. Fucile who died in 2005; by four sisters, Norma Couillard, Martha Richard, Antonio Heald, Stella Smith; and by a brother, Frank Fucile. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 28, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the John H. Mack Funeral Home 91 Vernon St., Gardner.
