ORANGE - Joseph A. Laframboise, 84 of 383 East River St., Orange, died Friday, May 4, 2007 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol.
He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on November 17, 1922, the son of the late Adolf and the late Della (Lambert) Laframboise.
Mr. Laframboise was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal on February 4, 1946.
He was a painter, employed by Butler's painting in Athol for many years.
An avid golfer he was a long time member of Ellinwood Country Club. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his loving family.
He leaves his wife, Mary Rita (Gauthier) Laframboise, two daughters: Elizabeth Robideau of Royalston, Karen Brooks of Athol and two sons: Robert Laframboise of Long, SC, Warren Laframboise of Punta Gorda, FL; three sisters: Celia Parody of Haines City, FL, Doris Ricker of Bethel, MN, Lorraine Gincastro of Provindence, RI and one brother: Calvin Laframboise of Providence, RI; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Evelyn D'Muzio
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
