Templeton-Joseph George Maynard, 59, died Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Heywood Hospital after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 23 years Diana Sherri (Piro) Maynard; five daughters, Shannon Maynard, Sheena Miller, Sky Maynard, Autumn Maynard and Natasha Adams; many grandchildren; His parents, Evelyn and Dale Berry; two brothers, Kevin Maynard and Ryan Maynard; one sister Janet Fahlbeck; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Punk.
He is predeceased by one daughter Leslie Maynard and his father George Maynard.
Joseph was born in Fitchburg on February 25, 1963 a son of the late Howard George Maynard. He attended Mahar Regional High School. He worked as a HVAC Tech for North East Mechanical.
Prior to Joseph’s illness he was a very active hockey athlete, he enjoyed dancing, snowmobiling, camping, riding his motorcycle, boating and was an avid NASCAR fan. His greatest joy was from spending time with his family.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School Street, Athol, MA 01331.
There are no calling hours and his burial will be private.
